How to get there

Note: Santa Fe has no ATM machines or gas station. Be sure to bring enough cash and fill up your car in Santiago.

By car: the road to Santa Fe (and San Francisco) crosses the Inter-Americana highway at Santiago. Coming from Panama City, take a right at the fly-over. Depending on your driving style, it takes one hour to 90 minutes to reach Santa Fe. When you reach the town, continue driving on the main road, pass the church. The main road will make a right turn and end at the bus terminal. Take a left at the T-joint. You can find us at the end of the first unpaved road to your right.

By bus: many buses stop at Santiago, 24 hours per day. Bus service to Santa Fe starts at 4.30 and ends at 19.00. They leave from Santiago’s main bus terminal. If you’re on an intercity bus you’ll have to take a taxi from the Inter-Americana bus terminal to the downtown bus terminal ($1.75), and take the bus to Santa Fe there.
Stay on the bus until the last stop at the Santa Fe bus terminal. Take a left at the T-joint. You can find us at the end of the first unpaved road to your right.
